ORDERING
INFORMATION
Returns
All returns must have a Return Merchandise Authorization number
(RMA); call Customer Service for assistance at 800 828 7980.
Please note if model/serial number was not provided at the time
of order you will be responsible for return shipping charges and
a 20% restocking fee.
We will not accept returns on the following item(s):
• Obsolete - Item(s) considered as "No Longer Available" (NLA).
• Electrical - These item(s) are non-returnable.
• Non-salable - Item(s) previously used, mounted or altered.
• Special Orders - Item(s) not stocked by our warehouse,
OEM item(s), or item(s) ordered particularly for your needs.
We will issue a RMA including a call tag for the following reasons:
• Quality concern - If you are not satisfied with your item(s)
within 30 days from the delivery date.
• Warranty issue - If your item(s) fails prematurely and is still
under the manufacturers warranty period. (See Warranty Policy)
• Other than ordered - If item(s) received was other than what
was ordered.
All other returns must reference a RMA number and be sent
back to us at the customers cost. There is a 20% restocking fee
associated with such returns. In order to receive credit all item(s)
must be in resalable condition and in original packaging. Item(s)
returned not in salable condition may be refused and shipped
back to the customer at customers' expense.
Damaged Shipments
All Damages Must Be Reported
Within 5 Days of Delivery
UPS - FEDERAL EXPRESS
If a shipment is received damaged please refuse the package
and notify us immediately so that we may reship the order and
file a claim with the carrier. Please call us at 800 828 7980
Truck Deliveries
Please do not accept any shipments that are damaged beyond
use. For shipments with minor external damage, open the
packages and inspect the items shipped. If necessary, refuse
the order. If either of these situations occurs, describe all
damages in writing on the carrier's paperwork prior to signing
your acceptance of the shipment. Without this proper
notification, damages may not be reimbursed.

Incomplete Shipments
All Shortages Must Be Reported
Within 5 Days of Delivery
If your order arrives incomplete, please check the contents of
the package thoroughly against the invoice for any backordered
items. If you find discrepancies, please call us at 800 828 7980.
Prices
We are constantly searching for ways to hold down prices and
offer the best quality parts. However, prices and availability do
change. Therefore, all prices and product availability are subject
to change without notice.
$10.00 Flat Rate Shipping
$10.00 Flat Rate Shipping applies to any order less than 150
lbs. If your order is 150 lbs. or more then your shipping charge
will be $88.00. $10.00 Flat Rate Shipping does NOT apply to
engines, cutting edges, equipment, oversized/overweight items
or any item that carries a predefined freight charge. $10.00 Flat
Rate Shipping does not apply to orders outside the U.S.
International orders will be charged actual freight.
Catalog Errors
Information in our catalog is reviewed carefully, however
occasional errors may appear. Therefore, we reserve the right
to correct any erroneous information and are not responsible
for typographical errors. In order to ensure order accuracy
please have your model/serial number available when the
order is placed.
Catalog Images
Images in our catalog are of the actual items for sale at press
time. Suppliers may change the appearance of an item
throughout the year. Changes will be reflected on our website.
OEM Part Numbers
Where indicated, original equipment manufacturers (OEM) part
numbers are used for identification purposes only. OEM names
are used only for reference purposes. The references in the
catalog to manufacturer’s trademarks, drawings, colors and
part numbers are for the purpose of identifying J. Thomas
Distributors parts numbers which may be used in lieu of
corresponding parts made by the identified manufacturers.
Warranty Policy
All Parts are subject to manufacturers warranty period, J Thomas
will not be liable for labor cost. If an item returned for warranty
consideration is denied through the manufacturer or no defect
is found, the customer is responsible for return shipping charge
as well as any charges accrued during the testing procedure
of item(s).
Cancellation Policy
Once your order is placed (by phone, fax or internet) it is
immediately sent to the warehouse for fulfillment. If you need
to cancel your order or make changes we will make every effort
to comply to your request. If your item is not stocked (Special
Order) by our warehouse or is being shipped direct from our
supplier the order cannot be cancelled without verification
through Customer Service that the order can be cancelled
with our supplier. Any item(s) cancelled after the order has
shipped will be subject to a 20% restocking fee and the
customer is responsible for shipping charges back to our
location. Including refused orders. (See Return Policy)
Backorders
Backorders less than $10 are cancelled please reorder; backorders
are shipped freight free unless the item is noted with shipping
charges. If your backorder is less than $10 and would like
us to ship your item(s) we are able to do so, however shipping
charge will apply. If your backorder exceeds a 30 day lead time
we will contact you to see if the item(s) is still needed.
